Frequently Asked Questions
What is the core purpose and philosophy of MONOLITH?
MONOLITH was founded to provide an intentional alternative to noisy, cluttered gaming communities. We prioritize disciplined aesthetics, respectful discourse, high-level creative and engineering discussions, and competitive fair play.
How does the new member verification gate work?
Upon joining, new accounts must have a verified email and an account age of at least 5 minutes (Medium safety verification). Members must read and accept the server rules via the onboarding gate before channel access is granted.
What is the server role hierarchy and color palette?
Our roles follow a cohesive metallic and monochrome hierarchy: Owner (Champagne Gold), Admin (Warm Bronze), Moderator (Silver), Member (Platinum), Bots (Steel Slate), and Muted (Dark Charcoal). Staff roles are hoisted to the top of the member list for transparency and immediate accessibility.
How do I submit suggestions or platform feedback?
Constructive proposals can be submitted directly in the #│suggestions channel. The moderation and administration teams regularly review community feedback during monthly governance cycles.
What are the requirements for entering competitive tournaments?
All tournament participants must be verified members in good standing, register using their primary verified gaming ID, and agree unconditionally to our fair-play rules. Smurfing or use of unauthorized third-party tools results in immediate disqualification.
How do I discreetly report a rule violation or harassment?
You may open a private support inquiry with staff or ping @Moderator in #│staff-chat if immediate intervention is required. In urgent cases involving safety, you may also reach out via our external contact portal.
Can I apply to join the staff team?
Staff recruitment cycles are announced in #│announcements. Prospective moderators must have an active membership history of at least 60 days, zero disciplinary strikes, and mandatory Two-Factor Authentication enabled.
