Competitive & Event Regulations
General Eligibility and Standards
1.1 Roster Registration
Participants must register through official event forms prior to the posted deadline. Accounts must be in good standing on both Discord and the relevant publisher game client, with a minimum account age of 30 days.
1.2 Smurfing and Account Sharing
Ringers, smurf accounts, and shared profiles are strictly prohibited. Competitors must play on their primary, verified personal game accounts. Identity verification or gameplay recording may be requested by event marshals at any stage.
Tactical Shooter Regulations (Valorant)
2.1 Match Format
Standard competitive 5v5 tournament format, Standard Ruleset, Tournament Mode Enabled. Map selection proceeds via veto system (Ban-Ban-Pick-Pick-Decider).
2.2 Overtime and Pauses
Overtime requires a two-round lead (Win by 2). Each squad is entitled to one technical tactical pause of up to 5 minutes per half. Unpausing without mutual confirmation will incur a round forfeiture.
Counter-Strike 2 Regulations
3.1 Engine Settings and Client Integrity
Matches run on MR12 regulation standard with overtime (MR3 $10,000). Only official Valve Anti-Cheat (VAC) protected and verified server clients are permitted. Modifying game files, script binds (e.g. automated jump-throw with sub-tick manipulation), or utilizing pixel-walking exploits will trigger immediate match cancellation.
Battle Royale Regulations (Apex Legends)
4.1 Custom Lobby Scoring
Tournaments utilize the official Match Point or ALGS cumulative scoring matrix (1st: 12 pts, 2nd: 9 pts, 3rd: 7 pts, etc., plus 1 point per elimination). Collusion, teaming with non-squad members, or intentionally feeding eliminations results in an immediate permanent ban.
Turn-Based Strategy & Chess
5.1 Fair Play Analysis
For Blitz and Rapid tournaments, external chess engines (Stockfish, Komodo), second-screen assistance, or opening database aids are strictly prohibited. All games are subject to algorithmic Centipawn Loss (ACPL) cheat detection analysis via Lichess / Chess.com fair-play protocols.
Scoring, Evidence, and Match Dispute Submissions
6.1 Reporting Protocol
Winning team captains must submit unedited end-of-game screenshots, match IDs, and VOD links within 15 minutes of match conclusion into the designated event channel.
6.2 Dispute Window
Disputes must be raised with event referees within 10 minutes of match completion, supported by video timestamp evidence. Referees' factual determinations on gameplay decisions are final.
Prizes, Distribution, and Penalties
7.1 Prize Distribution
Community prizes (e.g., Discord Nitro, hardware, gift cards, or title roles) are distributed directly to verified winners within 14 business days. Prizes are non-transferable and subject to local tax regulations where applicable.
7.2 Infraction Penalties
Any participant found guilty of exploiting bugs, using third-party aim/wall assistance, griefing, or colluding will receive: (1) Immediate match forfeiture, (2) Lifetime ban from all MONOLITH competitive events, and (3) Permanent expulsion from the server.
