Document Version 1.4 — Last Updated: November 1, 2026

Section 01

Mutual Respect and Civil Discourse

1.1 Professionalism in All Communications

Members are expected to engage with dignity, maturity, and intellectual honesty. Disagreements must remain focused on ideas, arguments, or technical topics rather than personal attacks, insult trading, or inflammatory provocations.

1.2 Constructive Environment

Trolling, baiting, griefing, bad-faith interruptions, and deliberate attempts to disrupt conversations are strictly prohibited.

Section 02

Harassment, Discrimination, and Hate Speech

2.1 Zero Tolerance for Degrading Conduct

Harassment, targeted hostility, bullying, cyberstalking, or the intimidation of any individual will result in swift removal. This applies to both public channels and unsolicited private messaging directed at members.

2.2 Hate Speech Prohibitions

Any content promoting violence, dehumanization, or prejudice based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religious affiliation, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or age will trigger an immediate and permanent ban without appeal.

Section 03

Spam, Unsolicited Messaging, and Self-Promotion

3.1 Feed Cleanliness

Refrain from repetitive messages, excessive character flooding, rapid automated posting, chain messages, or unprompted pinging of staff and members.

3.2 Commercial Advertising & Direct Messaging

Unsolicited self-promotion, discord server invites, referral links, and commercial solicitations in public channels or member direct messages are entirely forbidden.

Section 04

Explicit, Graphic, and NSFW Content

4.1 Strict SFW Environment

MONOLITH maintains a strictly Safe For Work environment across all public channels, voice channels, and avatar displays. Sexually explicit imagery, pornography, gore, violence, and suggestive material are prohibited.

Section 05

Cheating, Exploits, and Unauthorized Automation

5.1 Fair Play and System Integrity

Members must not distribute, promote, or utilize unauthorized software, third-party cheat clients, memory injectors, or scripts designed to gain unfair advantages in gaming or community challenges.

5.2 Bot Exploitation

Manipulating bot logic, rate-limit abuse, or reverse-engineering server automations to exploit leveling, economy, or moderation mechanisms is prohibited.

Section 06

Impersonation and Identity Misrepresentation

6.1 Deceptive Identity

Impersonating administrative staff, server leadership, verified public figures, or fellow members via cloned avatars, confusing nicknames, or misrepresentative statements will result in immediate disciplinary intervention.

Section 07

Privacy Protection and Doxxing

7.1 Non-Consensual Information Sharing

The collection, distribution, or threat of distribution of private personal data (including real names, physical addresses, contact numbers, private credentials, or private social profiles) is grounds for an immediate, non-appealable permanent ban and reporting to platform authorities.

Section 08

Adherence to Discord Platform Standards

8.1 Global Terms

All members must adhere unconditionally to Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. Any activity violating upstream platform policies will be treated as a direct breach of MONOLITH regulations.

Section 09

Minimum Age Requirement

9.1 Jurisdictional Compliance

In accordance with platform requirements and international child safety standards, members must be at least 13 years of age, or meet the digital consent age specified by their home country (e.g., 16 in select EEA nations). Accounts suspected of underage status will be removed immediately.

Section 10

Staff Authority and Discretion

10.1 Administrative Finality

Server leadership, Administrators, and appointed Moderators retain final discretion in interpreting and enforcing these regulations. In scenarios not specifically anticipated by written rules, staff reserve the right to act in the collective interest of server safety and community integrity.

Section 11

Progressive Disciplinary Escalation Framework

To ensure fair and predictable enforcement, infractions are handled through an escalating four-tier system, documented by moderation logs:

Tier Action Trigger & Scope Duration
Tier I Formal Warning Minor infractions, first-time off-topic flooding, or mild incivility. Logged permanently in audit logs.
Tier II Temporary Timeout / Mute Repeated minor offenses, heated interpersonal conflict, or spamming. 1 Hour to 24 Hours.
Tier III Server Expulsion (Kick) Continued disregard of instructions, severe disruption, or policy defiance. Account removed; re-entry permitted via invite.
Tier IV Permanent Ban Hate speech, doxxing, harassment, scamming, unauthorized raids, or malicious attacks. Permanent blacklist. Reviewable only via formal appeal.
